Bread Pudding

Ingredients

8 cups cubed leftover bread,  bread rolls or even fruit loaf

2 cups milk

4 large eggs

3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup finely chopped pecans

2 tablespoons sultanas

Method

Place cubed bread in slow cooker which has been sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

In mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs, both sugars, butter, vanilla and nutmeg and cinnamon and beat until smooth.

Stir in pecan and sultanas.

Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
